Moving & Handling People 2014 is aimed at health and social care professionals managing and providing hands-on practical care. The event enables practitioners to widen their experience and knowledge to deliver efficient, safe practice through improved performance and techniques.

Moving and handling practitioners require a range of skills and must often assess situations rapidly in less than ideal situations. Practitioners must feel confident in their assessments and recommended solutions, including the choice and application of equipment. M&HP 2014 will empower practitioners to make the
right decisions in a range of situations.

Moving and handling risk assessments often involve engagement with informal carers, relatives and other professionals as well as the client. The interactive practical workshops will consider the process from assessment to hands-on techniques providing delegates with guidance to make reasoned decisions while also reviewing their own handling practices.

Moving & Handling People 2014 is the largest moving and handling equipment exhibition for professionals in the UK, featuring over 60 stands with its associated Professional Resource Centre and New Products Poster Gallery.

Moving & Handling People 2014 is an unmissable opportunity for you to be inspired and make lasting improvements in client and carer safety.
